Established estate grown Marechal Foch grapes hand tended using organic practices by Kit and Claire Africa, owners of Sailor Vineyard. We produce wine in our traditional gravity winery solely from the grapes we grow adding only yeast.

Once upon a time, these two sailors, Claire and Kit, home from their respective travels, met in the driveway of mutual friends. The event was simple, an informal dinner, and the rest is history.

Their vineyard, planted in 2009, became the focus of their formidable combined energy and it naturally flourished, soon becoming a great gathering place for family and friends, arriving from all points of the compass to tell their travel tales.
